My path has been a tapestry of unique experiences, from gracing beauty pageants to anchoring news on TV. The journey began when I represented Sarawak in Miss Global International Malaysia 2015 and Miss Earth Malaysia 2017. These stages not only celebrated outer beauty but also taught me the power of confidence.
Seeking growth, I ventured into TV in Sarawak, becoming a News Anchor for Berita Iban. This leap from beauty to broadcasting was bold, but it turned out to be a pivotal decision. Beyond anchoring, I uncovered human stories as a reporter, and wore multiple hats as a TV host, assistant producer, and commercial talent.
Notable among my achievements is Miss Earth Malaysia 2017, where I secured the title of Miss Tropical Beauty and ranked 3rd in Evening Gown and Most Glamorous Look categories. This taught me to stand out confidently, a trait carried into my journalism career.
A guiding principle for me has been, “Lead, don’t follow.” Embracing my uniqueness, I’ve set my own standards and embraced diverse roles. My work at TVS includes charismatic hosting in “Borak Teh C Peng,” contributing insights in “Dialog TVS,” and being the face of TVC (Vida C), showing adaptability.
Recently, I have been listed as one of the successful people in Malaysia and Singapore by Britishpedia for their 6th edition of the encyclopaedia.
My journey isn’t just about accolades, roles, or appearances. It’s about finding strength in authenticity and leading by example. I’ve evolved from a beauty pageant contestant to a confident News Anchor, all while staying true to myself. Through my journey, I aspire to inspire others to be proud of who they are, create their own path, and illuminate the world with their uniqueness.
