KUCHING, Apr 3: Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM), the “Movement for Progress”, is set to revolutionise the implementation of their projects, according to AZAM Chairman Datu William Patrick Nyigor.
He said AZAM has received valuable advice from Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, especially on its direction and approach.
“We have briefed the Premier on AZAM’s activities and direction, and we have received impactful and constructive suggestions from the Premier.
“We will tailor AZAM’s direction, methods, and approaches in terms of implementing future projects and functions,” he said.
He spoke to reporters after paying a courtesy call to the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
AZAM is a non-governmental organization (NGO) functioning as an information agent to disseminate information about the developments in Sarawak, reiterated Patrick.
“We disseminate information and involve communities at various levels of development and state development planning. So, we have been implementing this through social media and other means.
“Every step we take involves engaging the community, not just in terms of communication but also their active participation,” he added.-TVS
