For our finale, Dr Welyne travels to Bario to hunt for the headgear of people in the interior. Bario is the birthplace of the native Kelabits, one of the smallest ethnic groups in Sarawak. Our mission here is to learn more about their female headgear, the Peta Ba’o Rawir.
From Mukah Dr Welyne travels to Miri to discover more about 2 different headgears. The first one is the Sikong, a traditional headgear worn by the Jatti Miriek women. The second headgear is the Lavung, the traditional headgear worn by the Kayan women.
